(BLS)
Blended Learning Heartcode BLS
HeartCode BLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance.
The hands-on session for HeartCode BLS will take approximately 1-3 hours (depending on class size). An American Heart Association BLS Course Completion Card valid for two years to be assigned after completing and successfully passing required skills check.
In Person Classroom BLS
The BLS in person instructor-led course reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, performing CPR, choking relief, using an AED, and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
BLS in person instructor-led will take approximately
5-6 hours. An American Heart Association BLS Course Completion Card valid for two years to be assigned after completing and successfully passing required skills check.
Blended Learning BLS Certification
Blended Learning BLS course provides healthcare providers and public safety professionals the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adult child and infant patients. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session.
The hands-on skills check for ALS will take approximately 2 - 3 hours. An American Red Cross BLS Course Completion Card valid for two years to be assigned after completing and successfully passing required skills check.
In Person Classroom BLS
The BLS Instructor-led course uses lecture, skills demonstration practice and case-based emergency response scenarios, focused on team-based response. BLS builds the key critical thinking problem solving and team dynamic skills that are needed to drive better patient outcomes
